Fantastic Info & Support
Thankyou Melissa & Deb for providing such a wonderful & necessary service. When planning our second pregnancy, I was lucky enough to attend some of your antenatal classes and also the healing from birth support group while I lived in Brisbane and both were absolutely fantastic. While I felt like I got 'half-way there'with my first birth (which was before I discovered Birthtalk), I was still left with some disappointment. I am now pregnant with my 2nd and already feel so much more empowered to make the right choices for me with the information and stories I have heard. If only there were more groups like yours around!!

Great idea having a guest book. Just wanted to thank you for the fabulous work you both do and to let you know how much you are appreciated. As a new doula on a very sharp learning curve I have learnt so much from both of you in the last year. I have seen first hand the amazing birth experiences women have had armed with confidence and self belief they have gained from you both. Keep up the great work. May 2008 be all that you hope for.

Deb & Melissa,
You are both amazing, inspirational and caring women. The support and information that Birthtalk provided me with is helping me and my family heal from our first birth experience. It has enabled me to smile again from the inside and given us the confidence to want to experience birth again.
I recommend Birthtalk to anyone starting a family or needing to heal, the level of information is just not available anywhere else and their non-judgemental support is incredible.

HEY!! NATURAL BIRTH after 2 caesarians
Hi Mel and Debbie, It is me!.. one of the proud mothers who attended Birthtalk Healing from Birth group sessions when pregnant with my 3rd bub. The talking and the info sharing with you and fellow mothers, helped me so much. Healed the grief, helped me up. I'm so proud to have actually gotten to the point where I TRIED a natural birth with my 3rd baby. It didn't matter in the end whether I could get her out or not, it was having the courage to prepare and to try when I wanted it so badly. And I was then lucky enough to avoid a caesar in the end. What a surprise I gave myself! I'm still stoked... 9 months on now! Please contact me by email (abatstone@internode.on.net) any Mums who are thinking maybe VBAC, and would like to have a friend to bounce stuff off.

Just a note to express my thanks for being there for me. Thank God for Birthtalk!! I feel relieved you are there providing such vital information for woman to both heal from birth, birth for the first time or birth again. You fill such a void and I feel very lucky to have found the organisation after 7 months of heartache, upset over my first son's birth. Half way through my 2nd pregnancy I feel much more prepared, confident and self assured because of the vital information you provide.
Thank you for being there to listen to woman who need to heal and grieve. And thank you for arming us with amazing information to go into birth feeling ready, empowered and trustful in our bodies!! Birthtalk is an amazing lifeline and I am so grateful for your important support.
